Renault modes
This is a promotional video made for Renault’s new car.
Rather than formally explaining the features of the driving mode composed
of eco – comfort – normal – dynamic – personal, we represented each mode using symbolic elements, through different colors and background composition instead.
SM7
"luxurious / exclusive / high-class"
As one of the top trim model of RENAULT SAMSUNG, the main target is also
divided into the middle age group.
Following this, we wanted to create a calmer and more luxurious ambiance.
To achieve this, we doubled the quality of the video using drum beats with its magnificent sound and speed.
Unlike the SM5, which emphasizes dynamics, the SM7 is designed
to give you the feeling of quiet, smooth driving.
SM5
"Comfortable ride and driving"
As RENAULT SAMSUNG’s flagship model, this has the advantage of comfort and smooth driving ability.
In addition to these, we wanted to appeal its dynamic aspect and energetic driving ability,
so we added fast sounds with dropping beats and maximized the advantages of driving an SM5
by making the video look like it was speeding fast.
In actual survey results, this also received a high score in terms of driving satisfaction
as compared with other competitors.
SM3
"Friendly"
RENAULT SAMSUNG’s SM3 targets the young.
Following this, we added bright and lively sounds and flow to the background,
and reflected the lifestyle of young people enjoying a trip together with SM3,
as if they were driving along with the city
at nighttime enjoying the view.
QM5
"Anywhere and everywhere"
We started with the concept that you can easily travel with an SUV, with its powerful driving performance,
and how you can store various gears whether it is in the spring, summer, autumn, or winter.
We added a touch of a sporty feel to it by adding in more leisure equipment
and created a sense of security by letting the car drive safely on ice and snow.
The video ends with the car speeding along the city center,
emphasizing that it is also great as an urban SUV.
